The PachiMarchi event will run from March 21 to April 4 with a Kill Confirmed game modes and the chance to win a variety of free rewards. While Blizzard's focus is currently on the upcoming Overwatch 2 Valentine's Day event, fans were clued in on some other content that they can expect to see later in Season 3. In the meantime, anyone that logs into Overwatch 2 while the Ultimate Valentine's Event is live can claim a Cupid Hanzo skin for free.
Details on the Hanzo game mode have not been revealed at the time of this writing, but with the Overwatch 2 Valentine's Day event kicking off next week, fans shouldn't have to wait too much longer to find out more about what's in store. The Ultimate Valentine's Event will then run from February 14 to February 28 with a 4v4 Hanzo-themed limited-time mode and special Support-themed challenges that let players earn new skins and rewards. Blizzard stressed that the Loverwatch Dating Sim is non-canon, in case anyone was wondering. Anyone that manages to unlock the secret ending will be rewarded with a special Play of the Game highlight. From February 13 to February 28, Overwatch 2 players can check out the Loverwatch Dating Sim, a non-canon text-based game mode where players can try to romance Mercy or Genji with the help of a Cupid Hanzo. While the original Overwatch didn't have much in the way of Valentine's Day events, Overwatch 2 is going all out.
However, it looks like Overwatch 2 is starting to branch off a bit by introducing a Valentine's Day event. The first Overwatch game firmly established the hero-shooter's seasonal event schedule, and so far Overwatch 2 has stuck with the original game's seasonal events. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, hero-shooter Overwatch 2 is gearing up to release a dating sim game mode and more to celebrate the occasion.
